Amazon Now Sells Groceries

Amazon is still expending its product line. The latest is the Amazone Groceries, where you can buy many different non-pershable grocery items, such as cereals, pet supplies, health and beauty items and much more. New items means more people would be shopping at Amazon, and people who are already buying at Amazon can add groceries to their shopping cart, while buying other things, such as books.

Of course a solopreneur who creates her own products will never have as many products as Amazon. But, by adding different products to the line up, a business owner can tap into a different group of customers, and increase an average ticket with their clients.

For example, when a business owner who sells e-books adds teleseminars to the products she offers, she taps into a whole new group of clients, people who like learning through teleseminars. She could not reach them when she just sold e-books, but now she expanded her product offerings and is able to cater to this group as well.

The Best Time To Hold Teleclasses

What is the best time to hold teleclasses (teleseminars)?

The answer to this question really depends on your target market. If the people in your target market are able to attend your teleseminars during the day, then 2pm or 3pm or 4pm Eastern are probably acceptable times. I hold my regular teleseminars at 2pm or 3pm Eastern.

If people who are going to attend have full time jobs, it would be easier for them to attend if you did a teleseminar in the evening (after 7pm).

Same is true when I am invited to present a teleseminar for other people. When a majority of the people expected are self-employed, we do a seminar in the afternoon. When I did one for a group of new business owners, but a majority of whom was still working for corporations, we did an evening seminar.

Use Online Networking to Generate Win-Win Situations

Do you use online networking? Has it brought more business for you? Here are just some things that online networking has helped me with:

– Client referrals back and forth. When you network with people, and get to know them, you build trust. Once you know each other well, you start feeling comfortable referring

How To Pick Keywords to Optimize Your Web Site

In search engine optimization, Keywords are words or phrases users provide to search engines to locate information. Search engines examine page content to determine whether a specific page is relevant for a particular search word or phrase. Thus, effective keyword selection is one of the cornerstones of search engine optimization.

Each keyword is characterized by supply (number of search engine result pages) and demand (number of searches). The easiest way to improve search engine rank is to select keywords that have favorable supply-demand characteristics; that is, ones with a relatively high demand and a relatively low supply. It is much more difficult to improve the search engine position of a page on a high supply, competitive keyword.

Good keywords must be relevant to your product line, as well as your line of business. A #1 rank for “navy widgets” is worthless if you sell taupe widgets exclusively. A potential customer will find your page, quickly discover that you don’t sell any navy widgets, and promptly go elsewhere. In effect, the conversion rate for irrelevant search engine hits is very close to zero.
